About Me
An approach centered on every child
I am Abir Zouaki, an early childhood educator holding an AEC (college diploma) in Early Childhood Education Techniques from Cégep de Sainte-Foy. With over 3,500 hours of experience with children aged 6 months to 6 years, I have developed an educational approach rooted in observation, kindness, adaptability, and respect for each child's individual pace.
My experience has allowed me to work with different age groups as well as with children who need more personalized support. I pay particular attention to creating a safe environment where every child can build autonomy, confidence and skills through play, routines and educational experiences.
Communication and collaboration with parents also play an important role in my work: I believe that continuity between home and the childcare setting supports every child's well-being and development.

Special Needs and Adaptation
Individualized Support
Some children need more time, structure or adaptations to fully take part in group life. My role as an educator is to observe, adapt and collaborate to support their development — always in complement to the relevant professionals involved.
Adapting Activities
I adjust instructions, materials, duration, difficulty level, environment and pacing so that every child can take part in free play, guided activities, routines and group activities.
